Earth in the making

So far, I have managed to animate this earth I created, though you can't really tell from this picture. The earth is rotating on its axis (which i rotated to 23 degrees), while the clouds rotate in the opposite.

Optainable goals

Goal # 1 - I need to make better decisions as a student to perform more aptly in the classroom, therefor positively affecting my gpa and learning proccess.

Goal # 2 - I need to improve on tardiness, and attendence overall in school, to complement the latter.

IPad Reaction

Will the IPad inspire a new class of computer?
I don't think that the IPad will inspire a new class of computer because there are already a plethora of them that all do basically the same essential things, with a couple of exclusive features. All computers are somewhat of a necessity to a specific species of man, the IPad is only another of these. I think that i will only be inspiration for a computer that does everything, which is already a concept or an idea, so it technically isn' inspiring anything but something that is already being worked toward.Anyhow, any more computers, I think, will only result in more computers that are not being used. Hopefully one day there will be a computer that will replace all others, and do everything and anything imaginable. That'll be the day!

1. So far I have learned that 3D modeling is not as difficult as you might think it is, but that doesn't take away form the fact that it's not for everyone. I found out how to build simple shapes and how to manipulate, which allows for one's imagination to take hold.
2. Well, I think that my biggest challenge so far in 3D modeling would have to be the design stage, which comes before the actual modeling stage. There are many ideas that just randomly linger in my mind, but the challenge is being able to take it from paper to screen, which is not impossible but rather laborious, since I am such a NOOB.
3. I think that the design for my castle was pretty simple, which i didn't really like. So I guess I would start out with an over all better design, then have a larger scale layout for it, with more eye candy.
4. Yes, I am inclined to admitt that the research sketching was in fact very helpful. If i didn' t have that, my castle would have been even more simplistic than it already is, not saying that it still isn't cool and interesting or anything.

First IMD Renders

I thought that the stairs were what really brought out the artist in me. They really let me express a lot of feelings and emotions. I also thought that it was pretty cool how there were different ways to render objects.
